The Group participated in a reception at the French Embassy in Baghdad on 14 July, on the occasion of the French national holiday. This diplomatic initia-tive honoured the French companies participating in the reconstruction of the country in the presence of a dozen Iraqi officials (for the most part stakehol-ders on the electrical energy markets) and guests for the occasion, in the presence of our new Ambas-sador, Mr. Bruno AUBERT and the Iraqi Minister of Culture, Mr Feryad RAWENDUZI. The reception was particularly appreciated by the Iraqi guests, stres-sing their friendship with the France. For the com-panies present, this was the opportunity to benefit from good visibility with the media, offi-cials and potential national purchasers. On the other hand, the presence of the French companies confirmed their commitment and willingness to stren-gthen privileged links with Iraq, which is a good omen for future developments in this key country in the Middle East.
